I have posted several photos of this church before, but on 28th April 2019 I came here on Sunday morning to ring, my first time inside the church. Unfortunately I didn’t take any photos of the interior (apart from the ringing room) as we were running late after having dashed over from Eastwood church, and we had to get on with ringing! It is a 6 bell tower.
Our second visit to this church was just a quick walk round the outside on a very blustery October day, after celebrating my mother-in-law’s birthday with lunch at the Old Windmill in South Hanningfield.
We walked around this church on the 14th July 2011. It is set up on a hill on the edge of Rettendon looking over the river Crouch valley and the busy A130. It was locked so all shots are of the outside.
