Bradwell-on-Sea – St Peter’s on the Wall

Quite a long walk from the car park, through fields, out to the edge of the marshes, is St Peter’s on the Wall, said to be the oldest Saxon chapel in England. Very simple construction, just one room.

I have visited several times, but these photos were taken on two separate visits, on a bleak 24th March 2008, and a lovely sunny spring visit on 18th May 2014. They are all mixed up but it’s pretty obvious which date they are from.
